Christmas Photos

Just got back from Oklahoma after spending a wonderful ten days with my son, daughter-in-law and new grandson, Ivan. Here are a few pictures to capture what went on in those 10 days.

Stuck in Houston overnightStuck in Houston overnight because of a terrible ice storm that was covering Oklahoma.

We played games every night while watching all our favorite movies.

Both of my daughters wanted footie pajamas … so they got them!

Playing with the three cats

Playing with the three cats

Three cats plus one cat toy on a string … priceless! Of course, by the time we left, the toy had been destroyed.

(he really likes to put his hands in front of his face – Erica says he did that in all of the ultrasounds they took. What a cutie!)

Well, after all was said and knitted, turns out the blanket is too big for him right now! So it’s a crib blanket and will be used more after he grows a bit. But I got a few pictures of us with it anyway.

After a brief, exciting 10 minute dash through Chicago airport to catch our connecting flight home, Chelsea and I arrived safe and sound at LaGuardia last night and my husband drove us home.

A few brief tears were shed as Chelsea realized what it really means to have your older sister stay with your brother in Oklahoma. She’ll get used to it soon, but the house is definitely emptier than it was when we left.

What a perfect baby! Congratulations!!! And what a great blanket–too big is a wonderful thing, it’s a forever thing and not a baby stage only thing.

And after all these years I finally get to see a picture of your daughters–and Benjamin, he’s not three anymore, definitely. Wow.

    • I’m not the best at sharing photos … my daughter Kimberly is the truly talented photographer in the family. Benjamin is all grown-up and with his own family now. It’s great to see him being such a caring husband and father.
